I've lived my life with music. My grandfather was a musician, my father is a musician, my uncles are musicians, my mother sang in the shower... I was schooled in classic records from Rubber Soul, Hunky Dory and Yellow Brick Road, to Grace, The Bends and Nevermind. From that education I set out to make my own record, and that record is Living Room, the culmination of years of writing and performing where I discovered my own voice.

"Living Room" is a journey of redemption. Starting with "Where Were You" and ending with "Hello," I take you through the pain and the joy of my life: Love, loss, longing, truth, discovery, belief... these are the themes that guide you on that path.

Recorded in the spring of 2001, "Living Room" was produced by Earle Mankey, the infamous producer behind seminal pop-punk bands such as The Three O'Clock, 20/20 and Concrete Blonde.

Composer/Electronic Musician Alex Gordon (Small Craft Warnings) lent production on "Taking My Time" giving the song a beauty I might have never known. I performed on all of the tracks, giving up the bass chores to friends who actually know how to play! It wasn't a control issue that made me want to play everything, it was a control issue, okay there I admit it... I heard all of these songs in my head and thought, hey, I can play drums, guitar, piano, I sing, what the hell, who needs a band! Well, for the recording I didn't, but to play live I don't think that one man band thing is very popular these days, so I gathered up some more friends and put together a band that is truly special. The songs have a beauty all their own and playing them live is bliss!
